EPSON/Epson's newly launched M-G370 and other series of inertial measurement units (IMUs) are high-precision MEMS three-axis gyroscopes/six-axis gyroscopes whose core parameters reach the level of fiber optic gyroscopes. They integrate three single-axis angular velocity sensors and Three single-axis acceleration sensors are used to accurately measure angular velocity and acceleration changes in three directions at the same time. Six-axis inertial navigation gyroscopes such as M-G365 and EPSON's earlier inertial measurement unit model M-G325 are widely used in autonomous driverless vehicles, AGV logistics handling vehicles (handling robots), unmanned ships and many other industrial products and systems to measure data and control motion, etc. Application examples: Autonomous driving and unmanned control of precision agricultural and construction machinery. Unmanned equipment such as industrial drones, ground vehicles and underwater equipment. Navigation system (GNSS*9, INS*10, high-precision positioning instrument). PTZ camera and antenna stabilization system. Vibration, angle and path measurement of industrial equipment and vehicles.

Epson single axis gyroscope
Epson gyro single-axis gyroscope is an angular velocity sensor. As a quartz electronic gyroscope chip, it has the characteristics of good temperature characteristics, low power consumption, low cost, and good stability. At present, EPSON's main gyro sensor models are XV7001BB, XV7011BB, and XV7021BB.
Epson newly launched XV7081BB gyroscope, automotive application gyroscope XV-9100 series, XV-9300 series, XV-4001 series, etc. For more details please contact us.
The differences between XV7001BB, XV7011BB and XV7021BB are as follows:
XV7011BB is a gyro sensor with a single-axis digital I2C interface output. Different from the silicon material used in gyroscopes using MEMS technology, XV7011BB uses quartz material. When the product rotates, the XV7011BB detects the angular velocity through the Coriolis force exerted on the vibrating element, greatly improving the dispersion and achieving stable temperature characteristics of the angular velocity output in a stationary state.
In the AGV logistics robot car, the excellent temperature drift characteristics of the gyroscope XV7011BB help the AGV logistics robot path planning and actual operation to be more accurate. Engineers use a gyroscope to measure the angle change of the AGV car's operation and control the forward direction of the AGV robot. XV7011BB can well solve the path planning problem of the AGV logistics robot car.

Compared with XV7001BB, the XV7021BB gyro sensor has more selectivity in angular rate output. The angular rate output of XV7001BB is 16 bits, while the angular rate output of XV7021BB is 16 bits or 24 bits, which has stronger compatibility; in addition, , XV7021BB has a wider detectable range and wider applications. The detectable rate range of XV7001BB is ±100º/s, while the detectable rate range of Bias stability, the temperature deviations of the two are ±5º/s and ±0.3º/s respectively (VDDM=3V). The temperature stability of XV7021BB is better, which can ensure that the sensor can obtain reliable detection data under temperature fluctuations.
